Private Pilates

One reformer, one client, one instructor. The work is built around your body — your goals, your history, your day. This is where Pilates becomes specific, and where every new client begins.

What to expect
  • Warm-up assessment — posture, breath, alignment
  • Reformer or Cadillac work tailored to your week
  • Mat and small-equipment finishers
  • Notes sent after the session so you remember the cues
Best for — Beginners, post-injury, post-partum, anyone with a specific goal.

Pilates Mat

The original Pilates — no reformer, just the floor and your breath. Mat is where you learn to find the powerhouse and trust it. Most clients eventually live in both worlds.

What to expect
  • Classical mat repertoire with progressions
  • Small props — magic circle, light weights, towel
  • Standing finisher to bring the work into life
Best for — Anyone. Strong, gentle, and restorative versions all offered.

Balanced Tower

Springs, straps, a vertical frame, and gravity. Tower work is precise, spacious, and surprisingly grounding. A favorite of the long-time clients here.

What to expect
  • Spring-loaded resistance for length and control
  • Spinal articulation and shoulder work
  • Standing arm and leg series on the tower
Best for — Clients with private foundations who want more variety.

  • Modifications shouted out for whatever you have at home
  • Recording shared after for makeup

However you start

The method stays the same.

Private, duet, mat, or tower — it's all the classical repertoire, taught by Lisa, scaled to the body in front of her. The format only changes how much of the room is yours.

Most clients move between formats over time: privates to build the foundation, duets to share it, mat and tower to keep it. You're never locked into one door.
