I've never done Pilates. Where do I start?+
Start with the New Client Intro — three private sessions with Lisa for $180. We walk through the fundamentals, learn your body, and answer every question. After three sessions you'll know whether private, duet, or mat group is right for you. It's the only on-ramp we offer, and it's deliberate.
What's the difference between mat and reformer?+
Mat Pilates is the original repertoire — you, the floor, and your own bodyweight. The reformer is a spring-loaded sliding carriage that assists or resists you, so the work can be deeper, more precise, and gentler on the joints. Most clients eventually do both. Mat builds the powerhouse; the reformer lets you find places you didn't know existed.
How is this different from a Pilates "bootcamp" class at a gym?+
Boutique Pilates is taught one-on-one or in groups of two to six, by a comprehensively certified instructor, on classical equipment. Bootcamp Pilates is often a choreographed cardio class with reformer-style equipment, taught to fifteen people. Both have their place. This is the slow, specific, traditional version.
I'm pregnant. Can I still do Pilates?+
Yes — and Pilates is one of the best things you can do in pregnancy and postpartum, but only with someone trained for it. Lisa has continuing-education hours in pre- and post-natal work. We start with privates so we can modify by trimester. Always check with your OB or midwife first.
I've had an injury or surgery. Should I wait?+
Get clearance from your doctor or physical therapist first. Then come see Lisa for privates — she works regularly with clients in recovery from back surgery, hip and knee replacement, shoulder reconstruction, and pelvic-floor concerns. Pilates is often the next step after physical therapy ends.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Twenty-four hours' notice, please. Cancellations inside the 24-hour window are charged the full session fee. If you're sick, message Lisa directly — she'll make it right. Life happens.
What should I wear and bring?+
Form-fitting, comfortable workout clothes — no zippers, hoods, or loose drawstrings (they catch in the springs). Grippy socks are required for reformer and tower; we sell them in studio if you forget. Bring water. Skip lotion and oils on the hands and feet.
Can I bring my partner, friend, or mom?+
Absolutely. Duet sessions are designed for exactly this — same time, same instructor, side by side. It's $55 per person and one of the most-requested formats. Note that your duet partner also needs to be Pilates-cleared (either via our intro pack or with prior experience).
Do you offer drop-in classes for visitors?+
Yes, for mat classes only — $25 drop-in. Reformer and tower sessions require the New Client Intro first because the equipment and cueing need a foundation. Visiting Denver? Call or message ahead and we'll get you in.
Is there parking?+
Yes — the Galleria Towers complex has a large free surface lot and a covered garage. Suite 125-A is in the Gold Building, ground floor, easy to find. The whole walk from your car is under a minute.

Still not sure? Just call. I'd rather talk for ten minutes than have you guess.
